Category Knight Frank News
Knight Frank is delighted to welcome Colleen van Rensburg to the team who is specialising in the suburbs of Bergvliet and Meadowridge.
Colleen comes to Knight Frank with a wealth of experience and property accolades but it hasn't always been about property.
1987 - 1995 Colleen ran the conveyancing department for Basil Dwyer of Rogers & Morris Attorneys.
1995-2004 Colleen and her husband lived on their dairy and beef farm whilst also operating their own butchery. During that time Colleen also worked for a non-profit play school as a teacher caring for three year olds.
In 2004 Colleen moved to Durban and decided to put her conveyancing experience to good use with Homenet Musgrave & Global Realty, cutting her teeth in the inner city which was great but also often a little hair-raising.
Colleen soon after was asked to work for Wakefields where she sold everything except land. Colleen gained great experience dealing with many cultures, a range of clients and a range of properties.
Colleen passed her board exam in 2004, trained with Jill Corfield and wrote her PDE in 2012. Colleen has gone on to train with the likes of Trevor Gaw, Ed Hatch, Sandy Geffen and the like.
Colleen's committment to the job has been evident including OTP's signed at 5am on New Year's Day and keys handed over at 2am, especially with four sons to support.
As well as being part of the Knight Frank team, Colleen is the secretary of the Animal Welfare Society of Stellenbosch and also supports charities that uplift communities.
Colleen has had some interesting times as an agent and is currently writing her Real Estate Memoirs.
